Belt groups, grading cycles, monthly subs and gi orders — handled. So you can spend the session coaching instead of chasing.

SimpliClass app

Who it's for

Whether you run a traditional dojo or a multi-style gym, SimpliClass works the way your school already trains.

Traditional dojos

Karate, judo or taekwondo schools running kyu and dan grades — every belt gets its own class, register and subs.

Kids' after-school programmes

Little Tigers at 16:00, juniors at 17:00 — young students, parents who need reminding, and subs that never chase themselves.

Competition-focused clubs

Squad sessions, tournament entries and extra training camps layered on top of the weekly timetable.

Multi-style gyms

Kickboxing, BJJ and MMA under one roof — each discipline with its own classes, coaches and monthly subs.

Family-run schools

One instructor, a hired hall and forty students — the admin of a much bigger school, without the office staff.

Built for the rhythm of the grading cycle

Organise

White belts to brown belts, every class with its own students, subs and register. Set the term up once and the whole grading cycle runs from it.

Communicate

Grading dates, venue changes and belt ceremony notices go straight to the right belt class. No photocopies crumpled at the bottom of a gi bag.

Get paid

Monthly subs go out on their own, and grading fees or gi orders land on the same statement. See who's paid and who's behind before you hand out a single belt.

Features

From the first white belt class to the next grading day

Every belt, its own class and register

White belts at 16:00, green belts at 17:00, seniors at 19:00 — each belt class keeps its own student list and its own register, marked as students bow in.

Because the register lives with the class, you can look back over the whole grading cycle and see who's been putting in the sessions — and who's missed three Tuesdays in a row.

The week's training on one calendar

Little Tigers Tuesday at 16:00, junior grades at 17:00, adult sparring at 19:30 — the whole week, across every belt and discipline, lives on one timetable.

When the hall gets booked out, move Thursday's class once and every parent sees the new venue. Grading day sits on the same shared calendar, so nobody turns up in a clean gi on the wrong Saturday.

Monthly subs, grading fees and gi orders

Set the subs for each class once and they're sent automatically every month — junior, senior and family rates can all differ.

When grading comes around, add a once-off grading fee to just the students going for their next belt. The same goes for a new gi or sparring kit — one tap, on the account, on the statement. Nothing gets chased at the dojo door.

Know who's due to grade before grading day

Six weeks into the cycle, open a belt class and see the register at a glance — who's trained right through and who only shows up when grading is mentioned.

Send a notice to just the orange belts about Saturday's grading, or to the whole school about the belt ceremony. On the Pro plan, ask the SimpliClass assistant who still owes for this month's subs and get an answer in seconds.

Questions martial arts schools ask

How do I keep track of who's eligible to grade?

Every belt class has its own attendance register, so at the end of the grading cycle you can see exactly who has been training and who hasn't. Students are grouped by belt and grade, so you always know which class each student is working towards — and a notice to that class tells the right parents what's next.

Can I track monthly subs per student?

Yes. Set the subs for each class once and recurring fees are sent automatically on your schedule. You can see at a glance who has paid and who is behind on subs, and send an account statement whenever you need to. On the Pro plan, parents can also pay online.

Can I add a grading fee on top of monthly subs?

Yes. Monthly subs are sent automatically, and you can add a once-off fee — a grading entry, a belt and certificate, or a seminar with a visiting instructor — to one student, a whole belt class or the entire school. Everything lands on the same statement.

What about gi and equipment orders?

When the gi order goes in, add a once-off fee to just the students who ordered — a gi, a belt, sparring gloves or a gum guard — and it lands on their account alongside the month's subs. Parents see one statement instead of three separate reminders.

Can I take a register for each belt class?

Yes. Every class has its own attendance register. Open the class, mark each student present as they line up, and the record is kept for the whole grading cycle — handy when grading season arrives and you need to see who has put the hours in.
